Technical Manager

Role Description The Technical Manager role is a part-time, remote position responsible for overseeing technical operations and supporting engineering activities. This role involves coordinating project tasks, guiding technical teams, and ensuring that electrical and electronic solutions meet quality and performance standards. The Technical Manager will review technical documentation, provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to research and development initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing system requirements, managing timelines and deliverables, resolving technical issues, and reporting project status to leadership. The role also includes mentoring team members, aligning technical efforts with business objectives, and promoting best practices in engineering and project execution.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills to assess technical issues, interpret data, and support decision-making.
Team management capabilities, including the ability to lead, mentor, and coordinate cross-functional technical teams.
Experience in providing technical support within electrical/electronic manufacturing or related engineering environments.
Background in research and development (R&D), with the ability to contribute to product and process improvement.
Project management skills to plan, organize, and track project activities, budgets, and timelines.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting.
Familiarity with industry standards, quality assurance practices, and safety regulations in electrical/electronic manufacturing.
Proficiency with relevant engineering and project management tools; prior experience in remote or distributed teams is an advantage.
