Role Description As a Microsoft Purview Architect with DLP and DSPM for AI you will design and implement data governance, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) architectures within Microsoft Purview, with a focus on AI-related data workflows. You will collaborate with security, data, and application teams to define policies, classification models, and access controls across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. Daily responsibilities include integrating Purview with existing data platforms, configuring DLP rules, developing reference architectures and documentation, and advising on best practices for secure AI data usage. You will troubleshoot and optimize Purview deployments, support proof-of-concept initiatives, and contribute to security and compliance roadmaps. This is a contract, remote role that requires effective communication and coordination with distributed stakeholders.
The ideal resource should have strong hands-on and client-facing experience with Microsoft Purview and data security, particularly:
Qualifications
Strong Architecture and Architectural Design skills, including experience creating scalable, secure data and security architectures in Microsoft Purview.
Hands-on Software Development and Integration skills to connect Purview with data platforms, AI services, and security tools.
Expertise with Information Protection. MS-Purview, DLP policies, and DSPM solutions, particularly in AI and cloud data security contexts.
Solid understanding of data governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC, ISO) and their application to cloud and AI workloads.
Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure security services (e.g., Defender, Information Protection), and identity and access management.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and present technical concepts to executive-stakeholders and technical-stakeholders
