JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Qlik Sense Developer & Administrator. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and support of Qlik Sense Enterprise and NPrinting environments, along with the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of Qlik Sense applications and NPrinting reports.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in both Qlik development and platform administration, with the ability to troubleshoot production issues, monitor platform performance, support deployments, and work directly with business and technical teams.
JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop new Qlik Sense applications and enhance and maintain existing applications.
Write and optimize Qlik load scripts, data transformations, data models, expressions, and Set Analysis.
Integrate data from multiple databases, flat files, APIs, and other enterprise data sources.
Develop and maintain PixelPerfect and Excel reports using Qlik NPrinting.
Translate business requirements into effective dashboards, visualizations, self-service applications, and reports.
Administer and provide day-to-day support for Qlik Sense Enterprise environments using the Qlik Management Console (QMC).
Manage Qlik Sense reload tasks, schedules, data connections, users, streams, security rules, and application access.
Administer and support Qlik NPrinting, including connections, tasks, schedules, users, report generation, and distribution.
Monitor Qlik Sense and NPrinting environments for application failures, reload issues, system availability, resource utilization, and performance problems.
Troubleshoot Qlik Sense and NPrinting application, reload, connectivity, security, performance, and production issues.
Review Qlik logs and system information to identify root causes and resolve production issues.
Support application deployments and migrations across development, test, and production environments.
Assist with Qlik Sense and NPrinting upgrades, patches, configuration changes, and maintenance activities.
Monitor and optimize application reload performance, scripts, data models, SQL queries, and resource utilization.
Configure and troubleshoot database, ODBC/OLE DB, file-based, API, and other data connections.
Write complex SQL queries and develop Oracle database objects, including procedures, functions, packages, and views.
Perform SQL troubleshooting and performance tuning as needed.
Work closely with business users, developers, database administrators, infrastructure teams, and other technical teams to resolve issues and deliver solutions.
Provide hands-on production support for business-critical Qlik applications and reports.
Maintain appropriate technical documentation for applications, configurations, deployments, and operational support procedures.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Strong hands-on experience with Qlik Sense Enterprise development and administration.
Strong experience with Qlik NPrinting development and administration.
Experience administering Qlik Sense through Qlik Management Console (QMC).
Strong knowledge of Qlik load scripting, data modeling, expressions, Set Analysis, and application development.
Experience managing reload tasks, schedules, data connections, users, streams, security rules, and application access.
Experience troubleshooting Qlik Sense services, application reloads, connectivity, logs, security, and performance issues.
Experience with application deployments, migrations, upgrades, patches, and production support.
Use of AI tools to improve development time and improve processes for admin and monitoring tasks is a plus.
Strong SQL skills with experience writing complex queries.
Experience creating Oracle database objects such as procedures, functions, packages, and views.
Experience with SQL and database performance tuning.
Strong understanding of relational databases, data integration, and database design concepts.
Experience with ODBC/OLE DB connections, APIs, flat files, and other enterprise data sources.
Familiarity with Windows Server, networking, certificates, service accounts, and authentication concepts is preferred.
Qlik Sense Developer and/or Administrator Certification is a plus.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to troubleshoot production issues, determine root cause, and coordinate resolution with appropriate teams.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
