Position Overview
Amber Brooke Farms is looking for friendly, dependable, and energetic Food & Beverage Associates to join our agritourism team. This position helps create a welcoming guest experience by preparing and serving food and beverages, operating point-of-sale systems, maintaining clean service areas, and assisting guests throughout their visit.
Because this position may include the service of alcoholic beverages, applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced, outdoor agritourism environment. Team members should be comfortable working weekends, festivals, special events, and other high-attendance days.
Key Responsibilities
Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Prepare and serve food, snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, and alcoholic beverages as assigned.
Verify identification and follow all company policies and applicable laws regarding alcohol service.
Operate cash registers and point-of-sale systems accurately.
Process cash and credit/debit card transactions.
Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary food and beverage service areas.
Restock food, beverages, cups, utensils, condiments, and other supplies throughout the shift.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures.
Monitor inventory and communicate restocking needs to supervisors.
Assist with opening and closing duties.
Help maintain a clean and welcoming environment for guests.
Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest questions or concerns appropriately.
Assist other departments and team members as needed during busy periods, festivals, and special events.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Previous food service, beverage service, hospitality, retail, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
Must be friendly, dependable, and comfortable interacting with guests.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain professional during busy periods.
Ability to accurately handle cash and electronic transactions.
Must be willing to follow all food safety and alcohol-service requirements.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must have reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Schedule & Work Environment
Weekend availability is required.
Availability for holidays, festivals, special events, and extended hours may be required based on business needs.
This position involves prolonged standing and walking.
Must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Must be able to bend, reach, lift, carry, and perform other physical activities associated with food and beverage service.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds as needed.
