Raytheon is seeking an experienced Material Program Manager (MPM) in support of the LADS SBU and PF&M SSBU for a program located in Tucson, AZ. The successful candidate will be directly accountable for ensuring overall program execution of materials management including cost/schedule/quality, and management of supplier performance. To be successful, the candidate must be a self-starter, capable of developing and achieving organizational and program objectives, and must be able to successfully interface with all levels of internal and external management.
The ideal candidate will have financial, contracting, proposal development and negotiating experience and have had project management responsibilities including, but not limited to material forecasting, Estimate at Complete (EAC) risk and opportunity management, briefing in customer forums, and the ability to work in cross-functional teams. You will have the opportunity to lead projects, budgeting and financial management, issue, and conflict resolution.
The selected candidate must be able to obtain an Earned Value Management System (EVMS) certification and a Material Program Manager (MPM) Level 4, or better certification within the first 3 months of working in the position.
What You Will Do
Support MPM Leads with monthly material forecasting via the ROMS and MFT tools.
Act as, or support, the CAM to manage material budgets and EAC for the program
Support MPM Leads in annual AOP development.
Develop and execute Material Program Plans and Supplier Management Plans.
Plan and execute sourcing decisions and support the Make/Buy/Where process.
Communicate and translate requirements to suppliers; Conduct supplier engagements related to capability, capacity, opportunity, and risk.
Drive Purchase Requisition generation & Purchase Order placement/management.
Coordinate with key stakeholders (Program Office, Production Planning, Engineering, Quality) to align material availability with program milestones via the SAP/Prism ERP system.
Proactively identify and mitigate vulnerabilities within the supplier’s performance.
Support proposal activities, as a member of the proposal development team, responsible for material cost and lead time.
Actively participate in program/engineering reviews and change boards, including CN and ECP reviews and approvals.
Ensure suppliers are operating to and are supporting MRP, the MPP, and the MPS.
Monitor performance metrics and proactively act to address program and functional issues.
Mitigate supply chain risks and work collaboratively with suppliers and purchasing to resolve material shortages or delays.

Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
Experience with Earned Value (EV) and material sales forecasting.
Experience with Microsoft Office Excel (pivot tables).
Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System such as SAP or equivalent.

Qualifications We Prefer
Financial Acumen: AOP, Forecasting, Estimates at Complete, Earned Value Management, CAM knowledge.
Material Program Management experience, with SAP, PRISM knowledge.
Prior experience working in the defense industry within the supply chain function
Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR and DFAR).
Experience presenting (verbal and/or written) to key stakeholders.
