Role Summary
We are looking for a Highway Engineer to support the execution of our ongoing national and state highway projects. The role spans office work and on-site execution work (supervision, quality control, measurements) and involves working with clients such as NHAI, MoRTH, state PWDs and private concessionaires.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise site execution of earthwork, GSB, WMM, DBM/BC, PQC, drainage and cross-drainage works
Ensure quality control and testing as per MoRTH Specifications, and maintain test records
Prepare measurement books, running bills, variation statements and progress reports
Coordinate with the Authority Engineer / Independent Engineer, client officials, subcontractors and survey teams
Identify road safety deficiencies and apply safety requirements for signage, markings and crash barriers
Qualifications
B.E./ B. Tech in Civil Engineering (preferred)
M.Tech in Transportation / Highway Engineering (preferred)
3–7 years of experience on NH/SH projects
Technical Skills
Working knowledge of MoRTH Specifications, manuals and relevant IRC codes
Advanced MS Excel for quantities, estimates and rate analysis
Familiarity with survey data from Total Station and DGPS
Understanding of NHAI contract modes (EPC, HAM, BOT) and contract documents
Good to Have
Experience with O&M / PBMC contracts
Exposure to structures such as culverts, minor bridges and RCC drains
Personal Attributes
Comfortable with remote project sites
Accurate with numbers and documentation
Clear written communication for reports and client correspondence
Willing to travel frequently
