Senior Engineer - IMDS

Your Contribution
Request and validate the supplier material data sheets as per IMDS and OEM guidelines.
Guide suppliers for resubmission of rejected parts.
Create material data sheet in IMDS to release internally or to OEM as per IMDS Guidelines.
Ensure correct and error free material data.
Communicate project status to requestors.
Communication within the relevant supply chain to request for submission of CMRT / EMRT and verify the received declarations.
Submit SCIP as required.
Basic knowhow of JAMA/CDX/IMDS portal
Awareness in Reporting various environmental compliance requirements is expected
Know how for iPoint agent will be added advantage
Handle IATF internal audits, customer audits & customer portals for documentation.
Your Experience And Qualification
BE (Mech/Auto/ Electronics/ Electrical / Metallurgy) degree.
3-5 years relevant experience.
Advance Excel Certification / Power App/ Power BI skills/ Six Sigma Green Belt / IATF 16949 awareness will be added advantage
Required Skills: Communication, fully conversant in Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint), Analysis & Problem-solving skills
Industry Preference: Automotive Engineering Services, Manufacturing background
Having knowledge of engine components, automotive parts, IATF 16949, drawings, material specifications.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organization time-management abilities.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Minimum Requirement
IMDS, A2 optimiser, iPoint compliance agent, SAP BOM, Excel, Knowledge of GADSL, ELV directive. CMRT, REACH, RoHS is expected.
Computer skills, including MS office – Tools like, Strong Excel knowledge and data management skill, PPT, SAP.
Strong communication skills: (written and verbal) to effectively convey information to stakeholders and team members. Fluent written and spoken English.
Excellent organizational and time management skills: to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Problem-solving and analytical skills: to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
Leadership and interpersonal skills: to motivate and guide teams, build relationships, and manage conflict.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Customer focused and results oriented. Attention to detail.
Responsible and organized, Logical thinker.
Passion to learn new concepts, technologies, and processes.
