Job Summary
We are looking for a Business Analyst + QA professional with 2–3 years of experience who can work closely with clients, understand and document business requirements, coordinate with development teams, and take ownership of the product delivery lifecycle from requirement gathering through testing and final delivery.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication and analytical skills, hands-on experience in manual software testing, and the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into clear, actionable requirements for the development team.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering
Communicate directly with clients to understand their business needs, objectives, and requirements.
Conduct requirement-gathering sessions, meetings, discussions, and follow-ups with clients.
Analyze and clarify functional and business requirements.
Convert client requirements into clear and detailed BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria where required.
Identify gaps, dependencies, ambiguities, and potential risks in requirements.
Ask appropriate questions to ensure requirements are complete and clearly understood before development begins.
Maintain requirement documentation and ensure changes are properly tracked.
Client Communication
Act as a communication bridge between clients and the internal development team.
Regularly communicate project updates, clarifications, questions, and dependencies to clients.
Participate in client calls and product discussions.
Understand client feedback and translate it into actionable development and QA tasks.
Manage requirement clarifications and ensure expectations are aligned between the client and project team.
Coordination with Development Team
Work closely with developers, designers, and other team members throughout the development lifecycle.
Explain requirements and business logic clearly to developers.
Resolve requirement-related questions during development.
Review implemented features against the documented requirements.
Coordinate development activities and ensure deliverables remain aligned with client expectations.
Track issues, dependencies, changes, and pending requirements.
Manual QA & Testing
Perform *hands-on manual testing* of web and mobile applications.
Understand and execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and exploratory testing.
Create and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios based on business requirements.
Identify, document, and track bugs using appropriate project management/bug-tracking tools.
Clearly communicate defects to developers with proper steps to reproduce, expected results, and actual results.
Perform regression testing after bug fixes and new releases.
Validate that the final product meets the agreed requirements and acceptance criteria.
Conduct end-to-end testing before client delivery.
End-to-End Product Delivery
Take ownership of assigned features/projects from requirement gathering through development, testing, and final delivery.
Ensure requirements are properly understood before development starts.
Coordinate with developers throughout implementation.
Perform comprehensive QA before presenting the product to the client.
Ensure critical issues are resolved before release.
Support UAT and coordinate client feedback.
Verify final changes and ensure the delivered product matches client expectations.
Required Skills
2–3 years of experience in Business Analysis and Manual QA/Testing.
Strong requirement-gathering and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience communicating directly with clients.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Hands-on experience with manual testing.
Knowledge of test case and test scenario creation.
Understanding of functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and exploratory testing.
Experience with bug/issue tracking tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Trello, or similar tools.
Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate effectively with developers.
Strong documentation and reporting skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
Basic understanding of APIs and API testing.
Basic knowledge of SQL/database concepts.
Understanding of web and mobile application testing.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience working with wireframes, Figma designs, or product prototypes.
Basic understanding of browser developer tools.
Experience participating in UAT and client demonstrations.
