Your Mission
We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Platform Engineer to design, build, and manage foundational AWS cloud infrastructure. The role focuses on AWS account management, networking, identity and access management, security boundaries, and reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure, Terraform, cloud security, and DevOps practices, ensuring a secure, scalable, and reliable cloud platform for application and engineering teams.
What You Ll Do
Design, provision, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure across multiple accounts and environments.
Build and maintain AWS networking, including VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, and connectivity.
Implement IAM roles, permissions, identity boundaries, and secure cross-account access.
Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules for standardized infrastructure provisioning.
Establish AWS account structures, governance policies, security controls, and environment isolation.
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated infrastructure deployment.
Implement infrastructure monitoring, logging, and alerting using AWS-native and third-party tools.
Collaborate with platform engineering, security, and development teams to support cloud infrastructure requirements.
Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and optimize cloud performance, reliability, and costs.
What You Bring
7+ years of relevant experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or platform engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, including VPC, IAM, EC2, Route 53, S3, and CloudWatch.
Experience designing and managing multi-account AWS environments using AWS Organizations and Control Tower.
Advanced proficiency in Terraform and reusable Infrastructure as Code modules.
Strong understanding of AWS networking, security boundaries, IAM policies, and cross-account access.
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools.
Proficiency in scripting using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
Experience implementing cloud security, infrastructure monitoring, and operational best practices.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Nice-to-have Skills
Experience with AWS EKS, Kubernetes, and containerized infrastructure.
Knowledge of GitOps tools such as Argo CD.
Experience with AWS Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and hybrid cloud connectivity.
Familiarity with AWS security and governance services such as CloudTrail, Config, GuardDuty, and Security Hub.
Experience with AWS cost optimization and FinOps practices.
AWS Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Engineer Professional certification.
