THE ROLE
Technical Head / Technical Partner
We are looking for a highly experienced Electronics & Electrical Engineering leader / entrepreneur who can take ownership of Quantadeep's technical direction and help build its hardware engineering, equipment manufacturing, sourcing and laboratory infrastructure capabilities.
This role is particularly suited for someone who has substantial experience in an electronics/electrical equipment manufacturing company, including experience across:
Product Design → Engineering → Prototyping → Manufacturing → Testing → Quality → Deployment
The ideal candidate should understand how technical products are actually built, validated, manufactured and deployed — not just designed.
Exposure to Quantum Hardware, Cryogenic Systems, RF/Microwave, Photonics, Precision Instrumentation or other DeepTech hardware will be highly valuable.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Technical Leadership
Establish and lead Quantadeep's overall technical and engineering strategy.
Define technical standards for products, equipment and laboratory infrastructure.
Evaluate technical requirements from customers, research institutions and startups.
Translate customer/research requirements into practical engineering solutions.
Build technical roadmaps for new hardware and equipment capabilities.
Lead technical feasibility assessments and engineering evaluations.
Provide technical leadership during customer engagements and major projects.
2. Electronics & Electrical Product Engineering
Lead or oversee:
Electronic system design
Electrical system design
Analog and digital electronics
Power electronics
Embedded systems
PCB design and development
Control systems
Instrumentation
Sensors and measurement systems
Test and measurement equipment
Power supplies and electrical infrastructure
Industrial electronics
Laboratory equipment
Custom research equipment
The candidate should be capable of reviewing schematics, system architectures, BOMs, PCB designs, electrical drawings, specifications and manufacturing documentation.
3. Manufacturing & Product Development
The candidate must have practical exposure to the complete product development and manufacturing lifecycle:
Requirement → Concept → Architecture → Design → Prototype → Testing → Validation → Manufacturing → Quality → Deployment
Responsibilities include:
Product architecture
Design review
Engineering BOM development
Vendor/OEM identification
Component sourcing
Prototype development
Manufacturing planning
DFM/DFA reviews
Quality control
Product testing and validation
Production scale-up
Technical documentation
Failure analysis
Product lifecycle management
Experience working directly with electronics/electrical equipment manufacturers, OEMs or industrial product companies is strongly preferred.
4. Laboratory Infrastructure & Equipment
Lead the technical development of Quantadeep's laboratory infrastructure portfolio.
This may include:
Electronics laboratories
Electrical laboratories
RF & microwave laboratories
Semiconductor laboratories
Photonics laboratories
AI/HPC infrastructure
Advanced instrumentation laboratories
Materials and characterization laboratories
Robotics laboratories
Quantum technology laboratories
R&D and prototyping facilities
The candidate should be able to understand laboratory requirements and develop a suitable combination of:
Equipment + Infrastructure + Instrumentation + Safety + Utilities + Integration
5. Quantum Hardware Exposure
Quantadeep is developing capabilities around Quantum Technology infrastructure and hardware ecosystems.
The candidate should ideally have exposure to one or more of the following:
Quantum computing hardware
Superconducting quantum systems
Cryogenic systems
Dilution refrigerators
RF and microwave systems
Quantum control electronics
Low-noise electronics
High-frequency instrumentation
Quantum measurement systems
Photonic quantum systems
Quantum sensing
Single-photon systems
Precision measurement
Vacuum systems
Semiconductor/quantum device fabrication
Quantum laboratory infrastructure
Direct quantum hardware manufacturing experience is not mandatory if the candidate has strong advanced electronics/instrumentation expertise and demonstrable understanding of quantum hardware ecosystems.
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
Essential
Bachelor's/Master's degree in:
Electronics & Communication Engineering
Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Electronics Engineering
Instrumentation Engineering
or closely related field.
10+ years of relevant industry experience preferred.
Strong experience in an electronics/electrical equipment manufacturing company.
Proven experience across product design and manufacturing.
Strong understanding of electronic and electrical systems.
Experience with product development and engineering teams.
Experience working with OEMs/manufacturers/vendors.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality systems.
Ability to evaluate technical specifications and equipment.
Experience taking products from concept/prototype to manufacturing.

The role does not require the candidate to be a quantum physicist.
