Inside Sales Leadership - Coaching - Conversion Improvement
Texas Pride Trailers
Location: Madisonville, Texas | On-site
Compensation: $150,000–$175,000 base salary, plus a 40% bonus opportunity
Help an experienced sales team turn more opportunities into profitable sales.
Texas Pride Trailers is seeking a Senior Manager, Sales Operations who combines hands-on sales leadership, strong analytical judgment, and the ability to develop people.
This role is about improving what happens between an incoming customer inquiry and a completed sale: how leads are handled, how salespeople follow up, how managers coach, and how the organization measures and improves performance.
Reporting to the Senior VP, Sales Operations and Fulfillment, you will work closely with existing Sales Management and Marketing leadership to improve the effectiveness of an Inside Sales organization of approximately 20 agents. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity, not a reporting-only sales operations position.
About Texas Pride Trailers
Headquartered in Madisonville, Texas, Texas Pride Trailers designs, manufactures, and sells heavy-duty trailers directly to customers. Its products support equipment hauling, construction, farming, transportation, and other demanding applications. The company manages the process from engineering and fabrication through sales and support.
What you will do
Coach the team and strengthen daily execution. Establish consistent sales huddles, performance reviews, and practical coaching. Help salespeople improve customer conversations, objection handling, follow-through, and closing effectiveness.
Improve conversion throughout the sales funnel. Evaluate lead response, qualification, quote generation, follow-up, and closed-sale performance. Identify bottlenecks, test improvements, and establish repeatable practices.
Turn data into action. Develop useful dashboards, scorecards, and performance measures. Strengthen CRM discipline, opportunity visibility, and sales tool adoption so reporting supports better decisions and daily execution.
Develop people and reinforce accountability. Identify individual strengths and performance gaps, coach improvement, and help develop frontline leadership. Work with Sales Management on performance expectations and staffing recommendations.
Build a close Marketing–Sales partnership. Maintain regular communication about lead quality, call volume, customer feedback, and conversion. Collaborate on lead handling, follow-up, customer reactivation, and opportunities to increase repeat business and customer lifetime value.
Support profitable growth. Evaluate pricing approaches, sales incentives, and operating processes with the appropriate leaders. Recommend improvements, implement agreed changes, and measure their effect on sales performance and profitability.
How you will lead
You will spend time directly with the sales team, learn the products and customers, and understand the operation before recommending significant changes.
We are looking for someone who can listen carefully, earn trust, and still establish clear expectations and follow through on performance. You should be comfortable working alongside experienced salespeople and managers, explaining the reasoning behind proposed changes, and helping the team put those changes into practice.
This position requires both data and people skills. Success will come from combining what the numbers show with what you learn through direct involvement with the team.
What you will bring
Seven or more years of relevant leadership experience in inside sales, sales operations, or sales enablement within a direct-response or performance-marketing-driven business.
Experience leading and improving inbound and outbound sales operations, including teams responsible for converting inquiries and opportunities into revenue.
A demonstrated record of improving conversion rates, sales productivity, and revenue through coaching, process improvements, and consistent execution.
Strong capability with CRM systems, sales reporting, dashboards, performance measures, and incentive programs.
Effective coaching, communication, and change-management skills, with the ability to balance collaboration and accountability.
Experience in home services, repair and remodeling, automotive, equipment, manufacturing, or comparable direct-to-consumer sales environments is particularly relevant.
What success looks like
Success will include stronger lead-to-quote and quote-to-sale conversion, more consistent follow-up, improved sales productivity and revenue per agent, and greater visibility into individual and team performance. You will also help develop the measurement and management practices needed to evaluate margin per lead, alongside conversion and revenue—not simply activity volume.
