Orientation Leader

Commitment to being an Orientation Leader is vital to creating a strong and successful experience for the AMDA incoming students.
Primary Responsibilities:
Tracking students' attendance on Zoom and in-person
Tracking progress on Canvas to make sure all assignments are completed
Encouraging students to attend all seminars and activities
Be a liaison between the Orientation Team and the students
Help guide students through their online and in-person Orientation
Weekly Meetings with incoming students and the Orientation Team
Attending Orientation seminars and sessions to support the incoming students
Assist Orientation Coordinator in setting up and breaking down rooms
Assist in bag and folder preparation for Orientation check-in
Qualifications:
Must be in good standing with the school as an Alum
Must be able to lift 30lbs
Must be able to be on your feet for 8–10 hour
Knowledge of working with a tablet
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Position Information:
The pay for this position is $17 hourly
Will need to wear black pants for all orientation
The required date for this role is from October 15th - 23rd
The dates provided are when availability is required. Orientation Attendants will work approximately 15 to 30 hours a week.
