Nuvola Talent is partnering with an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner whose wider work spans cloud, data and production AI. We are looking for a hands-on Tech Lead who can turn ambiguous requirements into sound technical decisions and help a team deliver maintainable systems.
This is for someone who leads through engineering rather than stepping away from it. You may already hold a Tech Lead title, or be a senior engineer who owns design decisions, code quality and delivery across a team.
What you would do
Shape practical designs and implementation plans, then stay involved through delivery.
Contribute hands-on, review code and unblock difficult technical problems.
Guide testing, reliability, observability and maintainability decisions.
Mentor engineers and explain technical trade-offs to stakeholders.
Where relevant, diagnose performance bottlenecks and validate improvements against realistic workloads.
What you would bring
Evidence of building and supporting production systems, not just producing architecture slides.
Examples of technical ownership, design/code review and mentoring.
Judgement about delivery speed, engineering quality and operational risk.
Clear communication with both engineers and business or client stakeholders.
AWS delivery and consulting experience are useful. Performance-testing or performance-engineering depth is particularly interesting for one of the openings, but is not a requirement for every Tech Lead hire.
Location: Fully remote, anywhere in the United States.
Compensation: USD $160,000–$200,000 annual base salary, plus bonus [confirm structure and eligibility before publication].
