Role Description The Sales Application Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Pimpri Chinchwad. This role involves providing technical guidance to customers on hygienic valves and FDA hoses, including product selection, configuration, and application support. The Sales Application Engineer will prepare and deliver technical proposals, quotations, and presentations, and collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities, respond to inquiries, and close deals. Daily responsibilities include handling technical support requests, coordinating with engineering and production teams to address customer requirements, and maintaining accurate records in CRM or sales tracking tools. The role also requires visiting customer sites when needed, gathering feedback on product performance, and contributing to continuous improvement of solutions and sales processes.
Qualifications
Demonstrated skills in Sales Engineering and Sales, with the ability to understand customer needs and recommend suitable technical solutions.
Strong Mechanical Engineering background to interpret technical specifications and support valve and hose applications.
Experience in Technical Support, including troubleshooting, resolving customer issues, and communicating technical information clearly.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact confidently with customers and internal teams.
Proficiency in using CRM systems, standard office software, and basic engineering tools for documentation and analysis.
Ability to work on-site, manage multiple priorities, and travel to customer locations within the region as required.
