Job Description
Role Overview As a DERMS Data Architect and Integration Specialist, you will play a critical role in the deployment of GE GridOS solutions. You are responsible for the end-to-end data lifecycle, from conceptualizing complex network data models to ensuring seamless integration within utility environments. This position is based in Bellevue, WA, with remote options available within the US.
Key Responsibilities
• Data Modeling & Strategy: Perform advanced data profiling, create source-to-target mapping documents, and design conceptual, logical, and physical data models (ER and dimensional) to support utility business needs.
• System Integration: Architect and integrate data solutions, ensuring high integrity and quality for distribution network models (CIM) and powerflow results.
• Cloud & Database Management: Design and implement database structures; manage ETL processes; and provide hands-on expertise in AWS cloud deployments.
• Project Collaboration: Work with Technical Solution Specialists to define success criteria, conduct peer reviews of application designs, and translate complex business requirements into robust data architectures.
• Data Governance: Establish and enforce data standards, governance policies, and quality frameworks across project lifecycles.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate data requirements workshops, provide training to utility end-users, and translate technical data findings for non-technical stakeholders.
• Operational Support: Debug SQL/model issues, participate in triage for in-flight projects, and work with product teams to refine solution capabilities
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of hands-on professional experience in data modeling and data analysis.
. Batchelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise databases, including Oracle, Snowflake, SQL Server, or Teradata.
• 5+ years of Modeling Expertise: Proficiency with industry-standard modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, Oracle Data Modeler, Enterprise Architect) and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) including data analysis
Desired Qualifications
• Full-Stack Development: Experience with backend development and scripting (Java, Python) and building DB connectors.
• Industry Tools: Familiarity with power system analysis software (e.g., OpenDSS, CYME, PowerFactory, Synergi).
• Cloud & DevOps: Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP deployments and familiarity with DevSecOps and cybersecurity protocols.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $119,600.00 and $179,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
