Job Description:
Lead Teacher
Full Time, First Shift – M-F time may vary according to children’s schedules
This position exists to guide children through developmentally appropriate activities that will encourage social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.
Job Duties:
Meet the physical and emotional needs of children and supervise children diligently to minimize hazards.
Make mealtime a pleasant learning experience and teach proper hygiene to children.
Keep open communication with parents to inform them of their child’s progress.
Plan, prepare and implement selected curriculum and submit lesson plans weekly to Supervisor, Manager or Program Coordinator.
Requirements:
Associate’s degree
CDA credential can substitute for a degree
One year of job-related experience
Must obtain 15 hours of annual training as required by the Division of Childcare within 1 year
