We are looking to hire a mid-career Technician for Compressed Night Shift - Front Half of week in Thin Films/Diffusion team
Required Skills:
• Strong work ethic and ability to work both in team setting and independently with excellent attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Critical thinking and problem solving in a high-volume production facility
• Basic understanding of semiconductor device physics and materials
• Wafer fab experience or knowledge of semiconductor processing
• Ability to be adaptable, self-motivate, and learn new skills
• Familiarity with basic SPC terms, methods and concepts
Description of Job:
• Sustain Thin Films and Diffusion fab area, including Epi, Implant, and CVD by reviewing and dispositioning aberrant lots, addressing equipment issues, and providing manufacturing support in a semiconductor cleanroom.
• Monitor the health of the production line by reviewing and responding to process trends using SPC.
• Determine root cause of process issues and make improvements.
• Improve yield and quality of the product by running experiments and analyzing data.
• Write and edit specifications/procedures and train peers.
Education:
Required: Highschool degree or GED
Preferred: 2 or 4 year degree in a technical discipline
Schedule: N1 (every other Sat, Su, Mo, and Tue)

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $28 to $35.
Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors

Benefits for the position includes 10 paid holidays per year, paid vacation starting at 136 hours per year for full-time employees (prorated for part-time employees), and paid sick time that exceeds the requirements of the Washington State Sick Leave law.
