Petcare Health, Safety, and Environment Internship Experience
As a Petcare Health, Safety, and Environment Intern, you will gain exposure to the following areas:
Support Site and Regional HSE in focus initiatives
Perform site assessments to ensure safety and environmental regulatory compliance
Develop and lead safety trainings for Mars associates
Perform risk assessments and help implement appropriate control measures
Perform on the job safety analysis looking at ergonomics and improvement opportunities
HSE Program Review and Gap Assessments
Assist in technical audits of other Mars factories
What we’re looking for:
Preferred degree in environmental, health, and safety / occupational health and safety
Eligible candidates will intern the summer prior to their final graduation date.
Open to students legally authorized to work in the U.S., without the need for current or future work status authorization or visa sponsorship for employment.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of drug & background screening.
Eligible candidates will be responsible for personal transportation to and from work site during duration of the internship program.
