About the role:
This Legal Contract Management Analyst Senior Lead role plays a significant role in leading contract negotiations and providing strategic commercial support across diverse categories within our organization. Significantly contributes to the organization's vendor and supplier contracting effectiveness by analyzing contract structure, commercial terms, and risk allocation to drive favorable negotiation outcomes. Achieves operational targets by identifying, assessing, and mitigating contractual and commercial risks associated with business operations, vendor relationships, and regulatory dynamics.
What you will be doing:
· Conducts complex contract research and commercial analysis, utilizing advanced experience to develop data-driven negotiation strategies and contract management insights while staying current with evolving market conditions, regulatory requirements, and industry contracting standards.
· Leads complex supplier and vendor contract negotiations with a focus on favorable commercial terms and risk mitigation, coordinating with internal stakeholders to align business requirements, and drafting precise contractual language to achieve sound commercial outcomes.
· Leads contract negotiations across agreement lifecycles, including renewal and amendment negotiations, utilizing advanced experience to structure agreements and secure favorable terms.
· Analyzes supplier agreements, statements of work, and purchase contracts to forecast potential risks and coordinates mitigation through precise amendments, fallback provisions, and escalation protocols.
· Implements and maintains contract standards and playbooks to ensure procurement agreements align with regulatory requirements, company policies, and business needs.
· Significantly contributes to contracting best practices, advising business units on commercial terms, negotiation strategy, and risk considerations to strengthen the organization’s negotiating position.
What you bring:
· Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships, influence difficult stakeholders, and drive accountability across multiple levels of the organization through effective communication, collaboration, and data-driven insights.
· Bachelor’s degree required. Professional certifications such as CPCM, CFCM, or PMP are preferred. An advanced degree, including a JD, is welcomed but not required.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
· This position typically requires 8-10 years of relevant experience in contract negotiation, procurement, strategic sourcing, or commercial operations, including experience leading complex negotiations and cross-functional initiatives.
