About the Opportunity
AIRSYS is a global leader in mission-critical cooling solutions supporting data centers, telecommunications, medical environments, semiconductor manufacturing, energy storage, and other demanding applications.
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technical Services Specialist to provide advanced technical support for AIRSYS products and help ensure reliable service for our customers, contractors, and distribution partners.
This is not a traditional call-center support position. The Technical Services Specialist independently manages complex technical cases, evaluates warranty claims, advises field technicians, delivers technical training, and works cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and R&D to improve products and service processes.
What You’ll Do
Technical Support and Diagnostics
Independently manage and resolve complex technical-support and field-service cases involving AIRSYS mission-critical cooling products.
Provide expert-level remote diagnostics and technical guidance to field technicians, contractors, distributors, and customers.
Evaluate technical issues, identify likely root causes, and escalate unresolved or systemic concerns to the appropriate engineering teams.
Maintain current knowledge of AIRSYS products and emerging HVAC, controls, and data-center cooling technologies.
Warranty and Service Administration
Evaluate warranty claims and make decisions regarding warranty coverage, replacement parts, and expedited replacements within established authority levels.
Apply company service policies consistently while balancing customer needs, product reliability, and business considerations.
Track recurring warranty and service issues and recommend corrective actions or product improvements.
Help maintain accurate service and warranty information within ERP and CRM systems.
Training and Technical Documentation
Develop and maintain technical manuals, service bulletins, troubleshooting guides, and training materials.
Conduct technical training at AIRSYS facilities and customer or distributor locations.
Help certify technicians in AIRSYS service procedures and product requirements.
Translate complex technical information into practical guidance for internal teams and external service partners.
Process and Product Improvement
Analyze service data, customer feedback, and field-performance trends.
Recommend corrective actions and product enhancements to Engineering, Quality, and R&D.
Evaluate and improve technical-service workflows, ERP data quality, and customer-experience metrics.
Act as a liaison among customers, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and other internal teams to ensure alignment on technical and service matters.
What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or GED required.
At least three years of progressively responsible technical-support, HVAC-service, or field-service experience.
Technical training or equivalent hands-on experience involving HVAC equipment, controls, diagnostics, or service strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems and exercise sound independent judgment.
Strong analytical, communication, and customer-relations skills.
Ability to explain technical information clearly to technicians, customers, and internal stakeholders.
Experience working with ERP and CRM platforms; Salesforce experience preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Ability to occasionally travel domestically for training, commissioning, or customer support.
After-hours standby availability is compensated through a fixed stipend, with potential discretionary recognition for exceptional service.
AIRSYS is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristic. Employment may be contingent upon successful completion of applicable background-check and drug-screening requirements.
