Role Overview
The Senior Manager of Mac Engineering is responsible for the processes and technology associated with RTX’s Global Mac program within Digital Workplace Services. This role ensures that RTX’s deployed Mac computers are secure, compliant, and meet high standards for usability by integrating and testing key security and productivity tools with our standard operating environment. The Senior Manager of Mac Engineering will help drive our endpoint management strategy by completing the setup and configuration of Microsoft Intune and migrating our Macs from JAMF to Intune. The candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to partner and network across Enterprise Services and the businesses to ensure high quality and completion of key initiatives. The Senior Manager of Mac Engineering leads a small team responsible for managing the endpoint management system and our standard operating environment, maintaining documentation and diagrams and ensuring the environment is within RTX compliance mandates. This leader focuses on current and future trends in the space and provides a vision for our Apple Mac computer environment.
What You Will Do
Lead the Mac Engineering team and maintain a world class Mac environment.
Drive RTX’s migration from JAMF to Intune.
Develop and align strategy for Mac program and manage team performance to achieve goals and objectives.
Establish, track, and continually refine KPIs and metrics.
Design, Implement and Administer a complex Mac Services Infrastructure.
Create and update certificates and packages for Mac deployment.
Provide a robust application catalog and maintain its currency.
Manage vulnerabilities and deploy patches to mitigate risks.
Ensure technical documentations and processes are maintained and current.
Interface with business unit representatives to develop the next generation Mac requirements and identify opportunities to drive efficiency and productivity.
Partner with digital technology service leads to ensure foundational support in areas like security, identity, network, and collaboration technologies.
Establish and cultivate relationships with suppliers of strategic information technology products and/or services.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience.
Experience leading and managing small teams.
Experience leading and driving initiatives from planning to implementation.
Qualifications We Prefer
Deep understanding of Mac OS and Mac management platforms.
Process expertise.Strong communication skills; ability to understand and convey complex topics to varied audiences.
Solid supplier management skills.
Strong problem management skills.
JAMF, Intune, or other relevant certifications.

Remote: This position is currently designated as remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories). Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
