What You'll Do
Build and maintain the Windows agent and probe client that runs on customer endpoints at scale
Develop the agent's integration with server-side services over SOAP and REST, including generated proxy clients
Work on token acquisition and renewal, session handling and JSON Web Token (JWT) lifecycle between agent and server
Implement device registration, hardware fingerprinting and device identity
Maintain agent installer packaging and upgrade paths across supported product versions
Develop and troubleshoot messaging-based notification and configuration push from server to endpoint
Diagnose failures that only reproduce on customer machines, working from logs and remote reproduction
What You'll Bring
7+ years building client or agent software, primarily in C#
Strong experience integrating a client application with server APIs over SOAP and REST
Working knowledge of token-based authentication — acquisition, renewal, JWT handling and session state
Java for the server side of agent communication
Experience with installer packaging and software upgrade paths
Comfort debugging distributed client-server behaviour where you cannot attach a debugger to the client
Demonstrated use of Spec-Driven Development (SDD) and AI-assisted development lifecycle (AI-DLC) practices, or a directly equivalent methodology
Go experience is beneficial
Windows service development and endpoint software experience is beneficial
