Salary range (but not limited to):
101,800 - 124,400
Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.
About the role
We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the security and management of sensitive data.
The successful candidate will play a key technical role, with strong involvement in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of scripts and applications related to the data environment. They will also act as a technical point of contact for the Architecture and Security teams.
What you’ll do here:
Develop, maintain, and improve scripts and software components related to the management of personal and sensitive data.
Manage incoming and outgoing data flows in a secure data room, particularly within a Citrix environment.
Analyze requirements, identify technical issues, and propose appropriate solutions.
Translate functional and technical requirements into detailed specifications and software components.
Design, develop, test, debug, and document reliable and maintainable solutions.
Focus primarily on maintenance activities while contributing to new projects, including the development of an internal data analysis tool and a new user interface for backend services.
Collaborate with Architecture and Security teams to validate solutions and meet data protection requirements.
Act as a technical resource for questions related to architecture, code, and scripts.
Review designs and code to ensure quality, security, and compliance with established standards.
Develop unit, integration, and regression tests.
Contribute to improving continuous integration and delivery practices, as well as automating development and deployment activities.
Organize and support production releases.
Provide Level 1 support and maintenance, while also resolving complex issues.
Explain the technical and functional aspects of solutions to colleagues and stakeholders.
What you bring to the table:
Minimum 8 years of software development experience, ideally in a backend, automation, or data security environment.
Strong experience with Python and PowerShell.
Knowledge of Power Automate and basic knowledge of C#.
Experience with or knowledge of several of the following technologies: Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
Strong SQL skills and the ability to analyze and manipulate data.
Knowledge of AWS services, including S3, Lambda, and ideally EC2.
Knowledge of Windows Server environments.
Familiarity with software automation and delivery practices, including Terraform and continuous integration and delivery pipelines using GitHub Actions.
Experience with a data analysis or classification tool; knowledge of Macy is an asset.
Experience working in environments handling personal or sensitive information is an asset.
Ability to collaborate effectively with Architecture, Security, and Development teams.
Ability to advocate for a position, communicate clearly, and influence technical decisions.
Strong analytical skills, autonomy, initiative, and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing environment.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country
