Essential Job Functions
Analyze requirements, design, develop, test, and implement solutions for the CMCS system - DOD, US Air Force and government customers.
Provide production support
Provide system documentation
Provide assistance to less experienced staff.
Business challenges include development of new functionality as well as break-fix analysis and support.
Work independently within a structured development lifecycle.
Understand complex business requirements and interface well with other DOD and government systems.
Qualifications
Minimal Position Requirements
A strong knowledge of the Z/OS environment including TSO/ISPF
Knowledge programming languages in order of importance
FOCUS – This system is written primarily in Mainframe FOCUS
JCL
REXX
COBOL
Assembler
MS Office – including the following:
Outlook
Teams
Word
EXCEL
Personal Qualifications
A strong customer focus. Applicant should be responsive and efficient when dealing with clients.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
A flexible and/or creative approach to problem solving
Ability to work in a team environment
Able to work with people across the country in different time zones
