Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Architect role based in Mumbai. The Architect will develop architectural concepts, prepare detailed drawings and plans, and coordinate structural requirements with consulting engineers. Day-to-day responsibilities include working on design proposals, reviewing technical specifications, preparing presentations and documentation, and participating in client and contractor meetings. The role involves overseeing design progress, supporting project execution, addressing design-related queries, and ensuring compliance with safety codes, building regulations, and quality standards. The Architect will collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on schedule and within scope.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to develop functional, safe, and aesthetically sound concepts and detailed drawings.
Candidates should possess skills in Project Management, including coordination with stakeholders, monitoring timelines, and ensuring design deliverables meet project requirements.
Candidates should possess skills in Integration and Software Development as they relate to design tools and workflows, such as working with CAD/BIM software and integrating structural and architectural information.
Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools).
Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and standards relevant to Mumbai and Indian construction practices.
Strong analytical, visualization, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, consultants, and site teams.
Prior experience in architectural or structural consulting environments is an advantage.
