About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of both front-end and back-end development, with a focus on building scalable, efficient, and reliable web applications. The role involves working on a Node.js and Angular-based web application hosted on Azure, contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle. As a key member of our technical team, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs. Your expertise will help optimize existing features, develop new functionalities, and manage cloud infrastructure to ensure seamless application performance and security.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong portfolio of web applications.
Proficiency in server-side development using Node.js and Express.js.
Solid understanding of front-end technologies including Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
Experience managing and deploying applications in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or Heroku.
Familiarity with cloud services including SQL/document databases, BLOB storage, Active Directory, and mail services.
Proficiency with version control systems like Git and platforms such as GitHub.
Experience with build tools and package managers like npm.
Knowledge of web markup, asynchronous request handling, AJAX, and RESTful APIs.
Understanding of CSS pre-processing platforms such as LESS and SASS is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to manage small to medium-scale production applications and troubleshoot effectively.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement new features across the front end, back end, and cloud infrastructure.
Maintain and optimize existing codebases to ensure high quality, performance, and reusability.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure technical feasibility of designs and mockups.
Provide technical guidance and solutions to address complex problems during development and production.
Participate in technical design discussions, architecture planning, and code reviews.
Manage and support production applications, including deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Develop and manage cloud infrastructure resources, ensuring scalability and security.
Implement best practices for DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes.
