About the role

Description supplied by the original job listing.

About Healerz
Healerz is an early-stage US healthcare-AI company building tools intended to help physicians make and coordinate high-stakes care decisions using real-world data. We are focused on earning voluntary, repeated use from busy clinicians—not merely shipping features. The next stage is turning user insight into validated product decisions and measurable adoption.
About the Role
This is a true zero-to-one product leadership role for someone who knows how to earn voluntary, repeated use—not just ship a roadmap. You will own product strategy, run fast discovery and validation loops with real users, build and modify prototypes hands-on with modern AI tools, and work as a peer to our Head of Engineering to turn validated concepts into production. This role reports to the COO.
Responsibilities
• Product strategy and the roadmap. Own what gets built, why it matters, what comes first, and when to scale, change, or stop work.
• A fast discovery loop. Build working prototypes with AI tools in days, put them in front of clinicians and users, and make evidence-based decisions in weeks. Senior engineers turn validated concepts into production.
• User validation. Own the review panels and rubrics that turn structured clinician and user feedback into product decisions. A feature is not done until it clears the validation bar and passes a usability check with its intended users.
• Adoption and evidence. Own activation, engagement, and retention. Combine product data with qualitative feedback to understand what earns repeated use.
• The user-to-buyer evidence case. Our users are individual physicians and their delegated staff; the larger buyers are healthcare organizations. Instrument provider usage to demonstrate value to those buyers.
• The market relationship. Maintain weekly user conversations and represent the product with providers, prospective buyers, and at relevant industry events.
• Focus. Protect the few product bets that drive outcomes and stop work that does not.
What Success Looks Like
• At 90 days: you have run the loop end to end—prototype, validate, decide—and re-centered the roadmap on the product’s differentiating core.
• At 12 months: the differentiating experience is validated with users, improving on real usage, and showing measurable progress in adoption and market penetration; at least one organizational buyer is engaging with the usage evidence you have built.
Qualifications
• You have earned voluntary, repeated adoption. You can show how you improved activation, engagement, or retention on a product people chose to use.
• Senior product leadership at an early-stage company, with real zero-to-one experience.
• A product bet you walked away from based on live user evidence—and the judgment to know when to double down instead.
• Experience with products where the user and buyer can be different people, including instrumenting usage to demonstrate value to the buyer.
• Experience running expert or user validation panels and turning structured feedback into product decisions.
• Hands-on use of modern AI tools to create and modify working prototypes, plus sound judgment about where AI genuinely helps and where a simpler approach wins.
• Fluency with product data and feedback: instrumenting usage, designing qualitative and quantitative feedback loops, and using both to drive decisions.
• Player-coach range: on day one, you are the product function, and you will shape what it becomes.
Preferred Skills
• Healthcare experience is helpful but not required. Comfort earning credibility with clinicians matters more than credentials.
• Provider-facing or clinical-workflow products; marketplaces, workflow tools, or data-rich products.
• Products that earn repeated use from busy professionals and apply consumer-grade engagement craft in a professional setting.
Compensation and Setup
Base salary, plus bonus and equity. Fully remote within the United States, with travel to providers and industry events.
Equal Opportunity Statement
Healerz is an equal-opportunity employer and actively welcomes candidates from backgrounds underrepresented in product leadership and healthcare technology.
