Job Summary:
The Inside Sales Application Engineer I provides technical sales and application engineering support for Tranter heat exchanger solutions across North America. This role partners with customers, channel partners, and the sales organization to develop engineered solutions, prepare technical proposals and quotations, and support project execution from opportunity development through order fulfillment. The position combines engineering expertise, customer engagement, and commercial acumen to help drive sales growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and expand Tranter’s presence in key markets.
The ideal candidate will combine engineering knowledge, customer focus, and commercial awareness to support sales growth, customer satisfaction, and market development. Responsibilities include product selection, quotation preparation, order and CRM management, technical support, forecasting, customer training, and collaboration with manufacturing to ensure technical and commercial requirements are met.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
2+ years of technical sales experience preferred
Knowledge of heat exchanger design, engineered products, P&ID diagrams, and fabrication drawings preferred
Experience with CRM/ERP systems and Microsoft Office
Strong communication, organization, and customer-service skills
Ability to support continuous improvement, SOP compliance, and HSE requirements
This position is part of the Sales organization and may require limited domestic travel.
