Business Operations Lead
The Opportunity:
Our operations team works across team delivery, client engagement, and product management. We’re hiring someone with hands-on experience in at least two of these areas who wants to continue working across them.
You’ll report to the Operations Team Lead and work directly with delivery teams, clients, and product leads. You’ll help resolve issues that need input from several functions, such as a client request that requires both a product decision and a delivery plan.
How You'll Contribute:
Team delivery: Serve as Scrum Master, facilitate planning and retrospectives, and help the team resolve blockers. Support the team’s participation in PI planning and coordinate dependencies with other teams in the Agile Release Train.
Client success and engagement: Work with clients to clarify needs and concerns, coordinate the team’s response, and follow commitments through to completion. Organize briefings and demonstrations as part of the team’s outreach plan.
Product management support: Work with product leads to turn client and user feedback into clear requirements. Prepare information for backlog and roadmap decisions.

You Have:
Experience in at least two of the following areas: serving as Scrum Master or coordinating an Agile team’s planning, dependencies, and delivery; working directly with clients to understand needs, coordinate responses, and follow requests or commitments through to resolution; or turning user or client feedback into documented needs or requirements and supporting backlog, roadmap, or product-planning processes
Experience coordinating work across teams or functions and following commitments through to completion
Experience resolving operational problems with limited direction, including implementing improvements and assessing the results
Experience explaining risks and decisions to stakeholders, documenting follow-up actions, and escalating issues that require leadership input
Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management. Engineering, or Information Systems
Nice If You Have:
Experience with team delivery, client success and engagement, and product management support
Experience establishing or improving working practices on a small or growing team.
Experience supporting PI planning and coordination within an Agile Release Train
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
