As part of HP's data science community, you will work at the forefront of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Advanced Analytics, applying cutting-edge techniques to solve meaningful business challenges. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to discover opportunities, build intelligent solutions, and communicate insights that influence strategy across the organization.
What You'll Do
As a Data Scientist at HP, you will:
Harness the power of AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics to uncover insights from large, complex, and diverse datasets.
Build predictive and prescriptive models that help business leaders make smarter, faster decisions.
Develop innovative solutions using machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and generative AI technologies.
Partner with engineering, product, and business teams to create scalable data products and intelligent automation solutions.
Transform analytical findings into compelling stories that inspire action and help stakeholders understand the "why" behind the data.
Create impactful data visualizations, dashboards, and presentations tailored for both technical and executive audiences.
Lead data science initiatives from discovery through deployment, ensuring measurable business outcomes.
Mentor and guide fellow data scientists while helping build a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Continuously explore emerging AI technologies, industry trends, and advanced analytical methods to keep HP at the forefront of innovation.
What We're Looking For
You are a data-driven problem solver who is equally comfortable building models, exploring new AI capabilities, and presenting findings to senior leaders.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, analytics, or statistical modeling.
Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, R, or related technologies.
Experience working with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts through clear, compelling storytelling.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI-powered analytics, or intelligent automation solutions.
Experience deploying machine learning models into production environments.
Cloud experience with AWS and big data technologies such as Apache Spark.
Experience mentoring team members or leading analytics projects.
Professional certifications in Python, SQL, AI, Machine Learning, or Cloud technologies.

The pay range for this role is $105,050 to $161,800 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
