About Us
RealList is a luxury vintage business based in Los Angeles specializing in rare, high-end designer pieces. We’re building the software infrastructure to automate and scale our operations. We’re looking for a developer to take ownership of this system and help us build what’s next.
The Role
You’ll be the primary developer behind our e-commerce and operations infrastructure. The work spans inventory automation, Shopify integrations, and internal tooling that the team relies on daily. We’re a small, fast-moving team, so you’ll have real ownership and direct impact on how the business runs.
Responsibilities
Maintain and extend a full-stack inventory management system (React, Node.js, Pocketbase)
Build new features and automations that streamline business operations
Own the live data sync between our inventory system and Shopify storefront
Build and maintain integrations with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, 1stDibs, etc.)
Write and test data migration scripts against production data
Participate in regular sprint check-ins and demos
Requirements
1-3 years of professional full-stack development experience
Proficiency with React and Node.js
Experience working with REST APIs
Disciplined approach to working with production data and live systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
US-based
Nice to Have
Experience with Shopify APIs or e-commerce platforms
Familiarity with Pocketbase or similar lightweight backends
Product sensibility - you can ask the right questions and flag complexity before it becomes a problem
Experience in a small team or startup environment
Comfort with AI-assisted development tools
