Nursing Manager (Registered Nurse)

The Nursing Services Manager is responsible for the Wellness Coordination program as well as supervising and managing nursing operations in a select area. This position develops and monitors the oversight of medical policies and procedures used within Dungarvin and ensures they meet all licensing requirements. The Nursing Services Manager will assure that each individual receives quality, individualized health care management resulting in optimal health.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO:
Nursing Leadership: Supervise, support, and develop nursing staff while promoting accountability, consistency, and high-quality care.
Wellness Coordination: Ensure required assessments, wellness plans, face-to-face visits, and documentation are completed accurately and on time.
Clinical Oversight: Monitor healthcare needs, clinical services, and care delivery for individuals supported across assigned programs.
Clinical Consultation: Partner with Area Directors, Program Directors, nurses, and other team members on medical concerns, healthcare practices, and regulatory requirements.
Program Growth: Help develop healthcare systems and nursing supports for new individuals and new programs.
Compliance & Quality: Ensure nursing services and documentation meet licensing requirements, organizational standards, and person-centered care expectations.
MUST HAVES:
Active Indiana RN License: Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Indiana.
Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of experience leading, supervising, coaching, or developing nursing or healthcare staff.
Communication & Documentation: Strong ability to communicate clinical information clearly and maintain accurate healthcare documentation.
Valid Driver’s License: Must be able to travel between programs as needed.
Successful Background Clearance: Must successfully complete required background and compliance checks.
NICE TO HAVE:
Residential Services Experience: Experience in ICF/IID, Medicaid waiver, group home, supported living, or community-based settings.
Clinical Leadership: Experience supervising nurses, LPNs, or other healthcare staff.
Staff Training: Experience educating clinical and non-clinical staff on health-related needs, medication administration, and care procedures.
Healthcare Planning: Knowledge of assessments, care plans, medication management, MARs, and physician orders.
Clinical Documentation: Experience with electronic health records, audits, regulatory documentation, and quality improvement.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Experience partnering with physicians, guardians, pharmacies, case managers, and program leadership.
On-Call Leadership: Experience providing clinical guidance during evenings, weekends, or urgent situations.
