Summary
Provides strong leadership to business intelligence (BI) staff. Effectively prepares, presents, and explains information to management. Possesses extensive understanding of database strengths and limitations, sources and definitions of data elements, and the interrelationships between various databases.
Job Description
Organizes and prioritizes tasks effectively. Utilizes excellent problem solving skills and exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Balances multiple complex projects and deadlines by determining critical issues, timelines, and priorities. Understands executive level information requirements and demonstrates absolute integrity in handling highly sensitive and confidential information. Works closely with key stakeholders to develop platforms for reporting, key performance indicators (KPIs) and analytics.
Develops and mentors staff; will be involved with human resources related functions. Establishes priorities for the team; sets timelines and assures they are consistently and efficiently met. Fosters an environment of automation, innovation and accountability. Conducts themselves in a professional manner at all times.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, data science, computer science, statistics, or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) related majors required.
Three years of managerial experience and minimum of three years prior financial, statistical and analytical experience required.
