Baptist Medical Center is hiring a Patient Transporter in our Patient Escort Services Department at Baptist South. This is a PRN opportunity.
Transporter, Job Responsibilities:
Accept patient move assignments from the Dispatcher.
To provide a safe and efficient transport of the patient.
This may be done utilizing a wheelchair, stretcher, or bed and must always be done in a quick yet safe manner.
Work closely with the nursing staff to ensure that continuity of patient care is maintained at all times.
Be compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
Education & Credential Requirements:
High School Diploma Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
