Mechanical Engineer 2
Mechanical Engineering leads and delivers the development of innovative and compliant mechanical design solutions, as well as cross-functional interfaces for desktop, portable and server computer systems and peripherals. Our team conducts the analysis, feasibility studies and testing of mechanical products, instruments, subassemblies and packaging for new and existing products – and then oversees the introduction of design changes to the manufacturing organizations.
What you’ll achieve:
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will design components, create detailed drawings/models, and perform basic analyses to ensure fit, function, and reliability. You will support builds, test execution, and documentation updates. You will learn standards and tools while contributing to delivery speed and quality.

Essential Requirements
2+ years of related experience
Foundational CAD/PLM and mechanical analysis skills
Attention to detail in drawings and documentation
Ability to support builds, tests, and updates
Strong learning agility and communication
Desirable Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics)
Hands-on build/test experience; familiarity with GD&T and tolerance analysis
Compensation
Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is USD 101,150 - USD 130,900.
