Lead Technical Program Manager

As a Lead Technical Program Manager within the Corporate Technology Portfolio Governance and Execution Management team, you will support the delivery lifecycle of funded initiatives, both in an advisory capacity and through hands-on oversight of the most critical, high-risk Corporate Technology programs. You will be execution-focused, with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. You will be structured and methodical, with experience in introducing standards and defined processes for project and program execution. You will take pride in delivering unambiguous, thorough reporting to the organization, satisfying the needs of all recipients regardless of level. With demonstrated technical fluency, you will effectively manage cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that align with the firm's strategic goals.
Job Responsibilities
• Develop and implement a structured project/program delivery approach within a team or broader organization
• Lead and support a team in driving a project or program from initiation through closure
• Articulate complex ideas, plans, and issues to different audiences
• Deliver, or contribute to the delivery of, effective technology change projects/programs
• Manage cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that align with the firm's strategic goals
• Leverage your network to drive effective delivery
• Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks, and proactively highlight and resolve issues, escalating where appropriate
• Demonstrate experience with AI-assisted practices for program governance and reporting, ensuring human review and alignment to delivery standards
• Experience working within a structured project/program delivery approach or implementing a structured project/program delivery approach within a team or broader organization
• Understand both waterfall and agile techniques
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• Experience delivering, or contributing to the delivery of, effective technology change projects/programs
• Experience working within a structured project/program delivery approach or implementing a structured project/program delivery approach within a team or broader organization
• Experience facilitating discussions to design technology solutions
• Experience driving projects toward completion, identifying key risks, issues, and dependencies, and working to resolve and escalate these where required
• Experience managing stakeholder expectations and driving execution across cross-functional technology and business teams
• Proven ability to support a team in driving a project or program from initiation through closure
• Understanding of both waterfall and agile techniques
• Proven ability to leverage your network to drive effective delivery
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly broker solutions and resolve conflict situations
• Strong motivation and drive for execution while building and maintaining solid relationships
• Strong written and verbal communication skills at all levels
• Strong expertise in technology program management tools, including JIRA, Confluence, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Ability to articulate complex ideas, plans, and issues to different audiences
