The Role
We're looking for a senior engineer who can operate confidently in both technical and client-facing environments.
This role sits between our clients and our engineering team. You'll lead technical conversations, clarify requirements, identify risks early, and translate business goals into clear execution plans for developers.
This is not a pure coding role. It's ideal for someone who enjoys architecture discussions, product thinking, and solving real business problems - while staying close to engineering without wanting another full-time development position.
What You'll Own
- Lead client discovery calls, technical discussions, and project follow-ups
- Translate client needs into clear technical direction and actionable development tasks
- Help clients understand trade-offs, timelines, technical risks, and implementation realities
- Keep projects aligned across stakeholders, developers, and decision-makers
- Identify blockers early and proactively drive resolution
- Write concise meeting summaries, technical notes, and next steps
- Build trusted relationships with long-term clients and stakeholders
- Support account growth by identifying additional opportunities when appropriate
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering or technical consulting
- Strong understanding of modern software systems including web applications, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and mobile products
- Excellent spoken and written English with confidence leading calls with US-based clients
- Ability to translate between business objectives and technical execution
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills in a remote environment
- Comfortable making decisions in ambiguous or fast-moving situations
- Familiarity with US communication style, expectations, and working hours
Nice to Have
- Experience working directly with US clients or distributed international teams
- Background in solutions engineering, pre-sales, technical consulting, or customer success
- Experience with AI products, FinTech platforms, or eCommerce systems
- Exposure to product strategy or technical architecture discussions

Compensation
Part-time contractor role with long-term collaboration potential. Compensation depends on experience, availability, and client-facing experience level.
