What You Will Do
Develop and evolve features for the API Studio platform using TypeScript and React.
Contribute to the evolution and customization of a web-based development environment (Web IDE) built on VS Code.
Work with Franca IDL and Franca++, contributing to features related to the definition, querying, navigation, and visualization of APIs and automotive communication interfaces.
Develop and maintain packages, extensions, and visualization components integrated into the Web IDE.
Work within a monorepo architecture, using Yarn 2+ for dependency management and builds.
Develop features for browsing, querying, exploring, and visualizing APIs and automotive communication interfaces.
Contribute to solutions involving modeling, programming languages, code generation, and developer tooling.
Build and maintain automated tests using Jest or Vitest and Playwright.
Collaborate on the integration between different platform components, backend services, and development tools.
Participate in technical decisions, code reviews, and continuous improvements related to architecture, performance, and solution quality.
What We Are Looking For
Hands-on experience with Franca IDL.
Solid experience in software development with TypeScript and JavaScript, at a senior level.
Hands-on experience with React and complex web application development.
Knowledge of web application architecture, componentization, and integration between different modules and services.
Experience with Node.js and its development ecosystem.
Experience managing dependencies and projects in a monorepo architecture, using Yarn 2+.
Experience with automated testing, using Jest or Vitest and Playwright.
Knowledge of Git and software development best practices, including code reviews and continuous integration.
Experience integrating applications and services through APIs.
Advanced English, for conversation and interaction with an international client.
Nice To Have
Experience developing and customizing VS Code extensions, including Extension Host, Webviews, and Monaco Editor.
Experience developing or maintaining integrated development environments (IDEs), especially web-based solutions.
Knowledge of Language Server Protocol (LSP) and integration of language services with development environments.
Experience developing developer tools, code editors, or data visualization platforms.
Knowledge of GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with visual regression testing and UI test automation.
Familiarity with Docker and Linux environments.
Knowledge of automotive communication technologies and protocols, such as AUTOSAR, Franca IDL, SOME/IP, PDU, and ECU.
