Job Description
Encounter Telehealth is growing, and we’re hiring part-time and full-time Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP-BC) licensed in Washington. This is a fully remote role. You’ll provide care from your home office or practice to patients in senior living communities across Washington. Washington residents are strongly preferred.
We’re looking for providers with a genuine passion for caring for older adults. Our patients deserve compassionate, consistent mental health care, and the right provider will find this work deeply meaningful.
Encounter handles all of the back-office work, including compliance, billing, and patient intake, so our providers can focus on what they do best: patient care.
You will conduct psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and therapy visits with Encounter patients using our EMR and video platform. You’ll also work with facility staff to understand each patient’s condition and medication needs. Patient diagnoses include depression, anxiety, dementia, and serious mental illness (SMI), among others.
Requirements
• PMHNP board certification (PMHNP-BC)
• Active Washington APRN license
• Active DEA registration (Washington DEA registration preferred)
• Ability to commit at least 6 hours per week
• Familiarity with telehealth and video-based consultations
• Experience with an EMR ( TEBRA preferred)
• Internet connection with at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speed
• Completed HIPAA training
