Room Attendant - Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino

A Room Attendant cleans and maintains assigned guest rooms/suites according to hotel standards, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing linens and amenities. Reports rooms as clean and available and communicates maintenance issues promptly.
Stocks and maintains the housekeeping cart.
Removes used linens, towels, and amenities.
Greets guests warmly and responds to special requests.
Cleans balconies, when applicable.
Ensures rooms are clean, well-stocked, and guest-ready.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Lower Vocational Education (Educacion Profesional Basico) or equivalent.
Language Skills: English basics.
Additional Language Skills: Spanish, Dutch, and Papiamento are preferred but not required.
The responsibilities of a room attendant include:
cleans the rooms/suites, as assigned, which includes making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and washing windows/tracks. Reports rooms as clean and available. Reports maintenance deficiencies in order to maintain room in compliance with hotel standards.
Strip dirty linens/towels and remove used amenities from room/suite.
Check the maid cart for supplies and stock as needed.
Greet guests immediately with friendly/sincere acknowledgement.
Replenish linen and guest amenities.
Clean balconies, if applicable.
Respond to special requests by guests (such as providing extra amenities or service time requests).
Supportive Functions:
Provide customer service to guests, including information about hotel services, activities, and local attractions.
Assists co-workers, as requested.
Other Duties:
Assists with team projects, when needed
Other tasks as requested by management
