The Opportunity
As a Tax Operations Transformation Senior Manager you will lead client-facing tax reporting strategy work that helps businesses navigate tax regulations, interpret financial data, and shape reporting approaches that support compliance and informed decision-making within our Tax Services practice. As a Senior Manager you will lead large projects, bring strategic direction to complex work, and use sound judgment to guide teams through ambiguity while developing clear messages, coaching others, and shaping outcomes that support operational excellence. In this role at PwC, you will collaborate across tax reporting strategy workstreams, support transformation efforts, and apply your knowledge of tax laws and reporting requirements to help clients refine processes and respond to changing needs.
Responsibilities
- Leading tax operations transformation initiatives from assessment through implementation, aligning reporting processes with client objectives and regulatory requirements
- Advising clients on tax reporting strategy, compliance impacts, and process redesign across complex financial data and tax regulations
- Directing cross-functional teams through tax reporting, compliance, and documentation workstreams while navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities
- Analyzing tax data, financial statements, and reporting controls to identify process gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Developing practical solutions for tax governance, tax accounting, and tax compliance needs using digital tooling and AI-enabled methods
- Reviewing tax research, policy changes, and regulatory developments to translate technical requirements into actionable operating models
- Coaching team members through issue resolution, task execution, and communication of clear, client-ready deliverables
- Building credible client relationships through strategic questioning, active listening, and concise storytelling that connects technical findings to business impact
- Validating outcomes against firm guidance, independence requirements, and tax standards while taking action on issues affecting delivery
- Supporting change adoption by guiding stakeholders through new tax operating processes, reporting routines, and service delivery improvements
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 6 years of experience
- At least one of the following: Certified Public Accountant, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity

The salary range for this position is: $124,000 - $335,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
