Raytheon Vision Systems is hiring a Senior Tech for Final Assembly. The technician will report to the Supervisor and team leader of that designed lab for support tasks.
The Final Assembly Technician performs hands-on assembly, integration, and completion of electromechanical products in accordance with engineering documentation, manufacturing instructions, and quality standards. This role ensures that all components are correctly installed, tested, and verified before release to inspection or shipment. The technician will work closely with manufacturing engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to resolve issues, provide feedback, and maintain efficient workflow.
What You Will Do
Assemble, align, bond, and integrate mechanical and electrical components according to work instructions and engineering drawings.
Perform basic functional tests, verification checks, and documentation of assembly results.
Maintain work area cleanliness, organization, and compliance with Factory protocols.
Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and all company quality policies.
Work within designated takt times and production schedules to meet customer demand.
Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to improve processes, reduce waste, and optimize workflow.
Create different types of harnesses while working off schematics.
Work in a team environment and meet production deadlines.
Read engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions, and Bills of Materials.
Good manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to follow standardized procedures.
This is a 1st shift, onsite position in Goleta, CA.
Qualifications You Must Have
HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment.
Experience with standard hand tools and basic measurement devices.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with IR Systems, Focal Plane Assembly packaging processes
Understanding of FOD and FOD-prevention methods
Understanding ESD protocols
Experience working in a very fast paced environment, must be willing to adapt to several tasks daily

The salary range for this role is 47,700 USD - 90,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
