Freelance Front End Developer

Description
You are a puzzle-solver, a debugger, an innovator.
In this role, you will focus on all areas of front-end development technologies. As such, this role will require a solid working knowledge and ability to execute on modern web frameworks such as Bootstrap, Foundation and Boilerplate. In addition to that, having expertise in leveraging build scripts, and working in Git repositories are an absolute must. A broad experience in different technologies and a natural inclination toward ongoing learning is necessary.
You will:
Work as an integral part of a cross-functional engineering team that is part of a broader creative studio
Create mobile first, responsive, scalable, flexible, accessible, and interactive digital experiences
Maintain and support existing websites
Participate in code reviews and other techniques to improve code quality
Investigate and resolve support issues
Assist with QA/QC when necessary
Ensure automated builds and continuous integration are always working
Contribute to the continual improvement of the product and development processes
Participate in software development process following Agile/Scrum methodology
Essential Requirements
Language Requirements – Read/Write in English (ability to communicate via email/phone/IM/Marked up direction)
3-5 Years of HTML5 / CSS3 / JavaScript / jQuery experience
Experience with LESS / SASS
Experience with one or more of the following JavaScript frameworks: React, Next.js, Vue.js
Familiar with npm, Gulp, Webpack
Working knowledge of PHP
Experience with Foundation, Bootstrap, and Tailwind CSS frameworks
Experience consuming / interacting with REST APIs
Experience working with WordPress
Experience in modern UI/UX design styles and technologies
In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (requirements, design, development, QA, deployment, and maintenance)
