Job Description
Our ANZ transportation team is in a strong position, delivering major transport infrastructure projects across New Zealand while continuing to secure new work throughout the ANZ region. There's real momentum, a healthy forward pipeline and the support of a broader technical network, giving you consistent project exposure and the backing to do your best work.
How You'll Make a Difference
Deliver transport infrastructure design and drafting across major projects, including civil arrangements, geometric design, road corridors, active transport infrastructure, utilities coordination and associated transport assets.
Produce high-quality drawings and digital models in accordance with NZTA, client and project standards.
Develop and manage CAD and BIM deliverables to support project design and delivery requirements.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members, including mentoring on digital design tools, drafting standards and workflows.
Work under limited supervision to manage your own deliverables while contributing to broader project outcomes.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, supporting the integration and federation of design inputs across projects.
Contribute to design documentation and ensure outputs meet project specifications, quality standards and delivery timelines.
Support the use of BIM and digital engineering tools to enhance design coordination and project delivery.
Qualifications

The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don't tick all the boxes, you could still be a great fit for this role. All applications will be considered.
Civil Engineering Associate Degree, Diploma in Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 5 years' experience in transport infrastructure drafting and design.
Strong experience delivering transport infrastructure projects, including civil arrangements, geometric design, road corridors, cycleways, footpaths, signage, utilities and safety infrastructure.
Proven capability producing high-quality CAD drawings and design documentation for project delivery.
Experience using software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Revizto or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of BIM and digital engineering workflows.
Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams and coordinating design inputs.
Strong understanding of design standards, quality requirements and project delivery timeframes.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
