The Role
- You'll write roughly 1-2 scripts per days around 10-30+ minutes in length. If you can write more than this and not drop quality we will pay you more.
- You will receive the task in the form of a video brief that our strategist created.
- You will then research the topic, create a compelling hook, fulfill the click and promises throughout the video, and create clear call to actions for the audience throughout the video.
- You can use AI in the process but the final script should not come out as AI garbage.
- You'll work under a Senior Writer who assigns your clients, reviews your drafts, and coaches you.
- You are responsible for hitting deadlines and your KPIs which are on time %, senior approval %, client satisfaction %, and # of scripts per month.

- Your scripts sound generic or AI-written and don't actually edit your scripts.

How to Grow in This Role
Weeks 1 to 4 are training and your first client. You learn our standards, our systems, and one or two clients' voices. Your scripts get reviewed closely, and you write 10 to 15 a week while you ramp.
Weeks 5 to 12 are about speed. Your Senior Writer adds scripts to you. You move toward full pace, roughly eleven scripts a week, and your drafts start coming back with fewer notes.
By Day 90 you're fully ramped: working towards delivering 45+ scripts a month, and hitting all four KPIs with minimal oversight.
Past Day 90, the role keeps growing. You take on more clients, your drafts need less review, and the strongest writers start coaching newer ones. How your pay and title change as you prove yourself is laid out in Compensation and Growth below.
What We're Looking For
• Proven experience writing YouTube scripts. A portfolio is required. No portfolio, no review.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills.
• The range to write in many brand voices and make each one sound distinct.
• Experience with, or a finance, mortgage, or real estate content.
• Speed of learning. We define intelligence as how fast you change behavior, and you'll need to change it fast here.
• You can follow a detailed brief and still bring creative judgment to the execution.
One note on your application. We hire writers who format an application with the same care they'll bring to a script. If your submission is sloppy, we'll assume your writing is too.
How You'll Be Measured
Four KPIs tell us, and you, whether the role is working. They also drive your monthly bonus.
• 95%+ on-time delivery rate. Roughly one late script per twenty is the most room you get.
• 45+ scripts delivered per month. About eleven a week, a little over two per working day.
• 95%+ Senior Writer approval rate. First drafts come back with light notes, not major rewrites.
• 90%+ client approval rate. Clients hear their own voice in the script. This is the one that matters most.
You should know these numbers better than your Senior Writer does. Track them yourself, every week.
Reporting and Structure
• You report to a Senior Writer who assigns your clients, reviews your scripts, and runs your monthly 1:1.
• You work inside a pod alongside a strategist, a YouTube manager, editors, and designers.
• You're paired with a buddy, a strong writer on your pod, through your first weeks.
• Monthly performance reviews cover your KPIs, your growth, and the support you need from us.
Compensation and Growth
• You start project-based, paid per script, with a weekly team bonus and a monthly KPI bonus on top of your base.
• Writers who consistently hit their KPIs earn around $1,800 to $2,200 a month. Top performers earn more.
• Hit all 4 KPIs for over 6 straight months and you move to a salaried tier with guaranteed monthly pay.
• A clear growth path: Writer to Senior Writer running your own pod, to Lead Writer as we scale.
