Summary
Rivet builds whole systems for frontline workers who build, operate, maintain, and defend the free world. We are looking for a Deployment Strategist, Palantir Partnership to deepen Rivet’s strategic relationship with Palantir and help both companies deliver greater value to customers across the Department of War and commercial enterprises.
You will spend significant time embedded with Palantir engineers, analysts, deployment strategists, and other teams to understand customer problems, identify technical integration opportunities, and develop joint solutions. You will work across Rivet’s product, engineering, deployment, sales, and marketing teams to connect capabilities at the edge and frontline with the decision-making core of an organization, creating a closed loop from input, to analysis, to decision, to action.
This is a highly cross-functional role for someone who combines technical aptitude, customer insight, and strategic thinking to turn complex problems into deployed solutions and meaningful business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Embed with Palantir: Spend significant time onsite with Palantir engineers, analysts, deployment strategists, and other teams to understand customer workflows, technical capabilities, and priorities, identifying opportunities to make both companies more effective.
- Solve customer problems: Immerse yourself in customer environments, synthesize disparate inputs, and identify how Rivet and Palantir can deliver differentiated solutions across defense and commercial markets.
- Drive technical integration: Work with engineering and product teams on both sides to develop integrations, build joint workflows, and turn field insights into scalable product capabilities.
- Drive joint go-to-market: Develop and deliver demos, support customer engagements, and identify co-selling and co-marketing opportunities that accelerate adoption of joint solutions.
- Own positioning and deepen the partnership: Develop compelling solution narratives connecting frontline operations to enterprise decision-making, while identifying new technical, commercial, and strategic opportunities to strengthen the relationship.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in deployment, technical solutions, product, strategic partnerships, or business development within technology, defense, or enterprise software.
- Existing familiarity with Palantir’s products, deployment methodologies, and customer ecosystem; prior experience at Palantir, particularly in a Deployment Strategist, Forward Deployed Engineer, or related customer-facing technical role preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand how hardware, software, and data integrate to solve complex operational problems.
- Demonstrated ability to work directly with customers and engineering teams to translate ambiguous problems into practical solutions and measurable outcomes.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with engineers, frontline users, analysts, and senior executives.
- Low ego, strong collaborative instincts, and a willingness to learn, lead, and execute wherever needed to achieve the desired outcome.
- Experience delivering solutions to the Department of War or large commercial enterprises.
- This role requires approximately 25–40% travel, including substantial onsite time with Palantir teams, customer sites, and Rivet offices.
Compensation may vary within the posted range based on relevant experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for equity and other forms of compensation. Eligible employees also receive a competitive benefits package, including unlimited PTO.
