Job Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate and assemble prototype components, fixtures, tooling, and parts by interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications while maintaining high quality standards.
Operate a variety of machining and fabrication equipment including CNC mills, lathes, laser cutters, press brakes, welders, and other machine shop equipment to support prototype and production-related projects.
Perform welding, machining, and finishing operations including MIG/TIG welding, cutting, grinding, drilling, tapping, riveting, and assembly of metal, plastic, composite, and other materials.
Troubleshoot and maintain equipment by conducting routine machine maintenance, monitoring performance, and identifying corrective actions to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Support prototype development and problem-solving activities by collaborating with engineering and production teams to develop solutions, improve designs, and meet project timelines.
Promote a safe, organized, and quality-focused work environment by following safety procedures, maintaining housekeeping standards, identifying hazards, and ensuring compliance with operational requirements.
Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or Technical/Vocational Certification required.
5+ years of experience in machining, fabrication, welding, and CNC operations.
Strong skills in MIG/TIG welding, machining, blueprint reading, GD&T, and use of precision measuring tools.
Experience operating CNC mills, lathes, laser tables, press brakes, and related fabrication equipment.
Automotive, manufacturing, testing, or prototype development experience preferred.
Valid driver's license; forklift experience and welding certifications are a plus.
