Mission Systems Resilient Connectivity Products (RCP) Engineering is seeking a dynamic Senior Engineering Manager of Electrical Engineering to lead an Electrical Engineering section within RCP Hardware Technologies.
In this role, you will drive innovative, mission-critical solutions that empower defense customers with cutting-edge technology. This position requires onsite presence in McKinney, TX.
What You Will Do
Lead the electrical engineering execution for both internally and externally funded programs and IR&D projects, ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction.
Set clear, measurable team goals and communicate expectations effectively.
Oversee all direct line management responsibilities for the section, including communication, performance management, career development, and talent acquisition.
Support department-level and SBU-level initiatives.
Ensure employee adherence to company policies and procedures.
Provide oversight and guidance for personnel issue resolution.
Drive innovation strategies through collaboration with internal and external customers and partner organizations across the company.
Build and maintain strong internal and external networks, developing relationships across Mission Systems Engineering, General Management, and Operations.
Qualifications You Must Have
Strong verbal and written communication skills suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated experience building, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
Proven ability to drive accountability and successfully meet project deadlines, cost targets, and quality standards.
Highly self-motivated and enthusiastic leader.
Electrical Engineering experience.
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience

Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with Special Access Programs.
Familiarity with high‑speed digital design.
Experience with system integration and support.
Knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) or similar budget-tracking tools.
Familiarity with bid, proposal, and earned value methodologies.
Hardware design experience.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
