Job Summary
Looking for an experienced Senior Data Governance & Security Engineer to implement
governance, security, compliance, and commercial control capabilities across the platform. The
ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in data governance platforms, access
management, policy enforcement, data lineage, audit, privacy, and compliance.
Required Skills
Candidates should have experience with at least one technology/platform from each
category:
• Data Governance Platforms: Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Alation, Immuta, Unity
Catalog, Apache Ranger
• Identity & Access Management: Enterprise IAM and access control solutions
• Data Governance & Compliance: Data lineage, audit, privacy, security, and compliance
frameworks
• Policy Management: Governance and policy enforcement platforms
Key Responsibilities
• Implement access controls and entitlement services.
• Build and implement data governance and policy enforcement capabilities.
• Deliver data lineage, audit, monitoring, and reporting solutions.
• Support privacy, compliance, security, and commercial governance requirements.
• Enable secure data sharing across platforms and external partners.
• Define and implement governance policies and controls.
• Provide data governance and security expertise during platform implementation.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure governance and security
requirements are met.
Preferred Profile
• 8+ years of relevant experience in Data Governance, Data Security, or Information
Governance.
• Strong hands-on experience with enterprise data governance and security platforms.
• Good understanding of IAM, access controls, data privacy, compliance, lineage, and
audit.
• Experience implementing governance solutions in enterprise environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
