Role Description The Vinyl Applicator is a full-time, on-site role located in Malappuram, responsible for installing vinyl graphics and signage on various surfaces such as walls, windows, vehicles, and boards. Daily tasks include preparing surfaces by cleaning and measuring, cutting and weeding vinyl, aligning and applying graphics, and ensuring smooth, bubble-free finishes. The role involves reading and following design specifications, handling tools and equipment safely, and maintaining an organized workspace. The Vinyl Applicator will collaborate with designers and production staff, support basic sign fabrication when needed, and uphold quality standards and deadlines for client orders.
Qualifications
Ability to accurately measure, cut, and apply vinyl graphics on different surfaces with strong attention to detail and quality.
Basic knowledge of signage production processes, materials, and tools, including cutters, squeegees, and heat guns.
Strong hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity for precise application, including handling small lettering and complex designs.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with team members and follow instructions and design specifications.
Reliability, punctuality, and willingness to work full-time on-site in Malappuram, sometimes under tight deadlines.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically active tasks, including lifting and positioning signage materials.
Prior experience in vinyl application, signage, printing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training may be provided.
Basic secondary school education; vocational training in printing, signage, or graphics is an advantage.
